Schieve & Associates, LLC is a licensed Certified Public Accounting (CPA) firm located in Finksburg, MD. (registration #42970) While the firm has been in existence since 2015, many of our clients have been with us for decades. Most of our client base comes from referrals. The tax portion of our business focuses on individual, corporate, partnership, not for profit, trusts and estate returns. In addition to federal returns, we currently file in over twenty (20) states.
Schieve & Associates, LLC has an attorney licensed by the state of Maryland on staff. Schieve & Associates, LLC provides estate planning services, including wills and trusts and business formation services.

John W. Schieve, CPA, CVA, Esq.
John is the founding owner of Schieve and Associates, LLC. He established the firm in 2015. He has over thirty years of public accounting experience serving many clients in various industries, including professional services, real estate, healthcare, restaurants and retail. John’s areas of concentration are individual, partnership and corporate taxation, business valuations and legal services.
Peggy Davenport, CPA, MBA
Peggy has affiliated with Schieve and Associates, LLC since its inception in 2015. She has over thirty years of public accounting experience serving many business and personal clients, while specializing in small businesses, real estate and not-for-profits. Peggy served as an adjunct instructor for leadership training, and has extensive experience with government financial and contract practices.
